B1B-Review 2

Hi, guys. How are you doing? I hope everything's fine and problems are being sorted out.

Well, first switch on the volume please, as here's a song to review the present perfect. The lyrics of this song have drawn multiple interpretations. Each one can, in a way, create their own story. I hope you find the music great. You may continue playing the different youtube clips by David Bowie, with his own band and with Queen.

And now, we're going to review the future.
As I said in class, in English there's no future tense. Future time is expressed by means of a number or modal (will) or semi-modal (be going to) verbs, or also by means of the present tenses (present continuous and present simple).
So, as the Sex Pistols say in one of their famous songs THERE'S NO FUTURE.

Well, after cheering you up or at least entertaining you for a little bit, here's a tutorial on how to express future time in English (you do not need to learn the form shall or shan't as this is not content for this year, though you can also try and learn it). I find the tutorial very clear and I hope you find it useful and clear too.
And now, some online exercises to practise "future" tenses. Mind there are 4 pages. Click on 1, 2, 3 and 4. Take screenshots and send to my Yahoo account.
